Remedial Massage Therapist
Emily has a background in biomedical science and molecular biology. Through her university studies she has developed a keen interest in the musculoskeletal system and how to use massage to assist with stress relief and optimal function. Currently a CertIV qualified massage therapist she will finish her Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy by September and aims to conintue her studies into Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
Having balanced full-time work and study, Emily understands the importance of making time for self-care amidst a busy schedule, and is passionate about learning. By servicing clients from a wide variety of backgrounds, Emily is always seeking to improve her skills in manual therapy and hopes to share the benefits of allied health & complimentary medicine with all her clients.
Her special interst areas are neck and shoulder pain, as well asspinal pain syndromes (upper and lower back) and postural syndrome. These interest areas make her perfect for managing the aches and pains so often associated with long hours at a desk or on a computer.
